Trevor Schmidt has built a dynamic career in media production, contributing his expertise to some of the most recognized names in professional sports and collegiate athletics. During his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Trevor operated studio broadcast cameras for live productions and meticulously logged game footage to support content creation and analysis. His work required precision, technical mastery, and the ability to perform seamlessly under high-pressure deadlines.
As an AV Technician and Production Assistant for the Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers, Trevor played a key role in delivering top-tier live game experiences. For the Sixers, he edited high-energy halftime highlight reels using Adobe Premiere, creating captivating in-arena content. He also managed complex audio/visual systems,from microphones for anthem performers and announcers to arena-wide broadcast feeds. With the Flyers, he operated live robo-cameras for scoreboards and collaborated with producers and NHL partners to implement cutting-edge technologies, including live puck-tracking graphics and 5G camera systems pushing the boundaries of live sports broadcasting.
Trevor sharpened his storytelling craft at Temple University as a Content Creator for OwlSports Update, where he produced, shot, and edited a range of video content highlighting the excitement of collegiate athletics. His work spanned mid- and long-form features to fast-paced social media pieces, showcasing his versatility and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
